    Sorry this feedback is late..

Love your intellectual analysis of Survivor! SO many other podcasts have people commenting solely on how they “feel” about the players based on their edit.

Note: Ponderosa video clips start when the Jury starts so we can get a glimpse of how the Jury is interacting. I love these videos as it helps to understand the final vote.

However, the pre-jury players also go to Ponderosa to wait for all pre-jury players to arrive. Then they are all taken on a vacation to a secluded area. In All-Star seasons they usually move the players around in cloaks to prevent people from knowing who got voted out.

In Dalton Ross’ interview of Coach

    The article quotes Coach:

Because Nietzsche was a great oxymoron. He was a monster because he studied them. “One of my problems studying monsters,” Nietzsche said, “is that in looking into them, you become one.” Same way as looking into the abyss. He was a man who started out with great intentions and actually became the animal that he was trying to fight. Almost like a Greek tragedy.

    Nietzsche said:
“Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.”

“Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one.”

“He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.”

Coach mostly got the quotes right. Better than I could do with lack of food and sleep…
